Why do you like this book?

I like this book and the books from The Adventures of Sophie Mouse series because it is an English book and it can help me to learn English. Another good thing is although this book is an English book, it is not very difficult and there are not many pages or words in one page. It does not take a lot of time to finish reading this book.

 

What is this book about ?

This book is about a little mouse called Sophie who loves to draw things that have happened every day and she uses berries to make different colours of paint.
One day, she knows about some special emerald berries that can dye very beautiful colours. She really wants to find those berries but those berries only grow in a scary place, Weedsnag Way. Everyone has heard the story that one little squirrel goes to Weedsnag Way and never comes back and no one can hear him since then. She invites her best friend Hattie to go there together. They follow the map and see beautiful waterfalls and rainbows.

When they go farther, they find that they are lost and they see a creepy tail! Then, a squirrel comes out behind the grass and it is the squirrel of the story! He takes them to his house and they have a cup of tea. They know that the squirrel comes here because of the emerald berries too. Hattie finds those berries and he likes this beautiful place and decide to stay there. That’s why he doesn’t go back to the town. At last, they pick some emerald berries and wave goodbye to the squirrel. Sophie goes home and tells her family about this amazing trip.
